Easter Egg Coloring Party

Thursday afternoon was full of fun coloring eggs.  Emma & Ethan's cousin, Levi, joined us for the 'egg-citing' afternoon.
This is the chalkboard above the grandkids' library shelf  in our living room.
I think Peter Cottontail will enjoy hiding our colorful eggs.
We used 3 methods for dying the eggs.

Kari's sister, Kim, is displaying her orange egg dipped in Kool-aid, love was written with white crayon.
Each child had a dozen eggs to decorate.
Levi & Ethan watch while Kari checks the eggs in Kool-aid.
In the end, the moms finished the egg dying.
Sorry this picture is so bad, girls.
The kids ate bunny snacks & watched the Easter episode of Paw Patrol.  Some of you may be familiar with the series on Nick Jr.  Emma & Ethan always want to was the show when they visit our house.

Good Friday blessings to you, my friend!

Oh what fun! I remember using shaving cream in the classroom weekly. Somehow children enjoyed learning more writing in shaving cream. I must check out the Pinterest link. The kids look perfectly happy and well entertained. It's fun at your house.

Job well done. All the kids look very satisfied with the results as they are lined up for the show. Nana's house is always fun.
