Slip Slidin' Away . . .

When hubby walked out to get the newspaper early
this morning he discovered that the snow
that fell overnight is covered with ice.
I'm sure the area school kids are
excited they get to stay home today.
They're going to be disappointed
they won't be able to build a snowman
or throw snowballs.

This is definitely a day to stay home. The wind chill is horrible.

Just a little ice here but it's a snow day! I'll take it.

This winter has been one for the record books---cold and snowy! Hope no one falls down. Stay snug and warm. Love the new look of your blog!

Even our little tiny dogs are falling through the icy crust. They get so frustrated just trying to get across the yard to their favorite spots.

Aaah, snow days. Again, you took me back to my childhood in northern Minnesota.
