Bye Bye '08 . . .

What are you doing on this last day of 2008?

Well, I'm going to be busy packing up the remaining Christmas bling. I'll also be preparing for the family dinner we're hosting on New Year's Day. We're having another 'smoked meat fest'. Bob is an expert at smoking ribs, pork loin, bologna, & sausage.
We always stay home on New Year's Eve watching TV & enjoying a few snacks.

I'm hopeful that I'll be posting my giveaway on Friday or Saturday!!!
Enjoy your last day of '08!!!

Wow, you're going to have more fun than I will with your little smokin party.LOL I'm going shopping again today with my daughter. I still have to take down my Girlie Tree in my bedroom, then I'm pretty much done, except the cleaning.I hope you have a wonderful and safe New Year.

I love today's song. makes me stop and ponder the year.
We will be spending NYE with April and Elise. Jason is working so we will keep her company. I plan to make a Risotto dish, and have other snacks. Grant and Kate will be having a nice dinner out and then hang out with some friends from church to watch the ball drop.
2009 or Bust!
Love you
Mary

Yummmy....I'll be right up! :)

We were invited to dinner with several friends in OKC this evening. We usually just stay home too, but this year have actually had several invites.

God bless you, my new blogging friend, in 2009! I'm looking forward to seeing what all God has in store for all of us in the coming year.

Love,
Valerie

We are going out to eat dinner or lunch with our 3rd son today and then going to his house to watch movies, play Wii! Thats about it. Tomorrow I might make a nice dinner for me and baldyman. I wont be taking down my stuff until Sunday..I'm still NOT ready to part with my tree.
